This one has always bothered me a bit. I think that if nearly everyone you meet thinks you’re an asshole, you ignore that fact at your own peril. What other people think matters because your own view of yourself is merely one side of the story, and a biased one at that. I am always interested in what I might be overlooking when I look at myself, and finding out what others think of you is a great way to find that out. It is a good place to start on the road to self-improvement.
