This is a bleak, pessimistic essay that makes me sad to be a liberal. It's exactly what people like Dan Bongino, Ben Shapiro, and Charlie Kirk think we all sound like. It's how they keep their audience foaming at the mouth with disdain for "libs". The only thing that writing like this does is allow for the social war to go on, and for us liberals to feel better about ourselves. But that's not what we need right now. It's almost completely unhelpful.
