They sure could. However, I think that if you really do a searching inventory of yourself, the values that you have — so long as they are not unnecessarily specific — probably won’t change that often. Even though they might change, they will definitely change much less often than goals and passions. Also, unlike passion which can rise and fall, wax and wane, values are subject to changes in mood and enthusiasm.
