Thanks so much, Ben!
Man, you sound a lot like me: not liking discomfort or adversity, having a hard time sitting still — check, and check.
And though that is what made me sure I could benefit from meditation, it also made me forget that those things are part of the mental landscape, and they are okay.
Blind spots and self-suppression, yeah. Those are tough. I still need to work on them, for sure.
