Now there’s an interesting question. Perhaps that’s what’s bugged me for a while. Capitalism is by definition a might-makes-right field of play. The stronger you are, the more you can do things that are unethical, while suffering very few consequences.

We now buy regularly from the largest companies that have ever existed, and we encourage them to keep growing rapidly(through our investment in their stocks). When any one of them plateaus, the only way to break through that plateau is going to be unnatural, unethical, or illegal business moves (large acquisitions of competitors, the creation of a new market segment, etc.). We’ll have to watch for the plateaus…
