I love that you mention quantum entanglement as a something a bit mystical, or allowing for mystical thoughts. That’s actually part of what has recently inspired me to allow more mystical and magical things into my worldview. So much about quantum mechanics is so very, very weird and contrary to the Newtonian notions that I called “scientific” growing up. That weirdness has not gone away, and continues to allow for very odd things to persist not only unexplained, but as coherent with existing quantum theory.
