I guess if what you’re looking to do is build an entire company — especially by yourself — doing it with any kind of prior commitments is going to be very difficult while keeping your day job.

But, despite what the thousands of articles online tell us, not everything has to be a startup. You can do a thing, make a thing slowly, and sell it — without expectations of quick exponential growth.

But what do I know? I’m just a mook with a family and a day job?
