Fantastic story! I think my dad had my art career going a similar direction to what yours imagined. He took no comfort when I switched to philosophy.

To me, it makes sense that you ended up in marketing. I did a lot of marketing at the company where I work, but they want me in leadership and/or sales. My skills are applicable either way.
