At this point, all of this has little to do with the concepts of majority and minority. Rather, it has to do with power concentration. A powerful minority is just as dangerous, if not more so, than a vast majority. So long as power and wealth are concentrated in a group, that group has disproportionate control over so much of the society.

Getting the numbers is one thing, but not the thing.
